A talented crew of local volunteers operates each of the village checkpoints on the Kobuk 440 trail. These volunteers provide straw, hot food to the mushers, hot water for the mushers to prepare food for dogs and other necessities. Your sponsorship of a village checkpoint provides direct funding to the particular village while giving your company the opportunity to display a banner at the checkpoint. SpotTracker Sponsorship $1,500 + Swing Dog Sponsorship SpotTrackers allow Kobuk 440 fans to follow mushers along the trail by displaying their position on the race map. This live coverage brings real time information into the homes of fans across Alaska, the nation, and the world. Sponsorship of SpotTrackers will provide the opportunity to display your company's banner on the live map page, one of the most visited pages on the Kobuk 440 website during racetime. KOTZ Radio Coverage Sponsorship $500 + Team Dog Sponsorship Local, accessible coverage of the Kobuk 440 is essential to villages in the Northwest Arctic Borough on the radio waves, and beyond, via an online streaming link. Your donation will be transferred directly to local station KOTZ Radio. KOTZ covers the race start and many finishes, intermittent updates throughout the race, the awards banquet, and more.
