The Kobuk 440 Buy-a-Mile! Program
You can ceremonially sponsor your very own mile of the Kobuk 440 trail for only $44.00!
With your help, we can raise up to $19,000 for Kobuk 440 programming through individual sponsorship from mushing fans like you. For Buy-a-mile sponsors who purchase their mile prior to the start, we have a special email list that will get the first glimpse at pictures and stories from the trail. This fundraiser will run until April 30, 2026.

Successful funding of this program will help us in our mission to perpetuate the Iñupiaq tradition of distance mushing in the Arctic. Funds will be used for the Kobuk 440, the Taaqpak 120, the Junior Kobuk 440, straw/dog food for Northwest Arctic mushers and pet owners, and more!
Here's how it's done:

3. To purchase your mile(s) with a credit or debit card, click here. To pay by personal check or in-person, please email us to get your mile reserved.
4. Look for your unique badge on our Facebook page, and share with friends and family! Our Facebook page is public and can be viewed without an account. Buy-a-Mile sponsors will also be acknowledged on our website.
