Kevin Hansen racing from Hansen's Racing Kennel, has been mushing his whole life, first starting distance racing in 2017. Being from Kotzebue and raised running dogs, April is his favorite month and looks forward to the Kobuk 440 every year. He enjoys traveling the region, seeing the awesome country, and to see all of his friends and family. 
He has run the Taaqpak and Kobuk 440 a handful of times, placing 2nd place in the 2025 Kobuk 440. 
2026- Knik 200 2nd place, and Iditarod Rookie.
