Sadie Lindquist was born into mushing, being a close family friend to the Seavey’s. She has worked with Seavey’s Ididaride sled dog tours in the summer for nearly a decade now. That got her going in the direction of “some real mushing.” Sadie completed both the Knik 200 and Copper Basin 300 in 2024. Standout dogs for the Kobuk 440 are Fendi, Quigley, Apollo, and Ollie. About the 2025 Kobuk 440, Sadie said “I am beyond stoked to share the trails with some pretty cool teams, and explore incredible new country with the best friends I’ve ever had.”
