Bailey Vitello is a second generation musher and has been running dogs since he was three years old. His father got into mushing just before he was born, and Bailey has been hooked from the very beginning. Hailing from Milan, New Hampshire, he has since competed in dog mushing races in the US, Canada, and France. He completed his first Iditarod in 2023, and has run the Copper 300 and the Idaho Sled Dog Challenge 300, among others. He loves to be on the runners of a sled, exploring with his team, and has received awards for exceptional sportsmanship and dog care. Experiencing the Kobuk 440 is something he’s wanted to do for a long time, and he is excited to have the opportunity to do so. He would like to thank his friends and family who have followed along on this awesome adventure.
