Christina came to Kotzebue in 2019 for an internship in environmental education and returned a few months later for a full time job. She enjoys bikejoring with her sled dog Tuco, ice fishing, berry picking, and creating digital and traditional art. She is currently working with Katie Henry at Stormy Kennels to develop her skills and learn more about distance mushing in the region. She assists the Kobuk 440 Racing Association with website maintenance, merchandise and outreach.
